Wikis 1.0


First, before we begin, what is a WIKI anyway? A wiki is an online collaboration tool that allows various users to edit the content of a protected space. It is usually set up by an "organizer" and they invite or allow others to contribute to the space. Sounds simple no? Well if you want to find out a little bit more click on the YouTube imbedded video below entitled "Wikis in Plain English". (one of the other cool things is that wikis's allow you to add all sorts of other Web 2.0 content to your wiki page.

Web 2.0 merely means new tools available on the web that allow you to interact with the Internet content versus being a passive observer of internet content.
